Stewart Builders,
Inc. has operated as a builder of premier custom homes in the Western
North Carolina mountains of Waynesville, NC since 1994, specializing
in fine homes, whether new construction or remodeling.
The founder
and President, Mary Stewart, has the distinction of being the only
woman in Haywood Co. with an “unlimited” license classification.
She has 24 years of entrepreneurial experience and fell in love
with homebuilding in Jackson County, where she built her first Post
and Beam homes. She has served two terms as President of Haywood
Co. Homebuilders Association and spear-headed its first Parade of
Homes. A strong believer in continuing education, she has earned
the designation of North Carolina Accredited Builder, soon to be
Master Builder (Spring 2006).
Featured twice
in Builder/Architect magazine (1999 and 2003), Mary’s reputation
for quality work and excellent customer relations has been a hallmark
of her history in construction.
